Wandanna rises in Montecarlo, part of the Lucca district, on the hill that faces the Valdinievole, Pescia and Montecatini Terme, an area with a history of wine cultivation that dates from the ninth century, favored by a Mediterranean climate-characterized by mild winters and windy summers.
As part of the Montecarlo’s winemaking tradition, besides the typical Tuscan vines, a wide selection of French vines are being cultivated as well.
Wandanna covers an area of 50 ha, from wich 21 ha are dedicated to the vines and 4 ha to the olive trees. The rest of the property is covered by a forest and several colonial structures.
A very important part of our activity is dedicated to the olive oil: the 3000 olive trees present in the premises allow a wide production, mainly dedicated to the local and national markets.
